Very nice! Since picking up Japanese tools I've been eager to work with yellow cedar, just haven't gotten around to it. Lantern making looks like a great application for the wood.
A painfully slow amateur woodworker in Vancouver BC.
I was inspired to 'up my game' after spending seven weeks at the Inside Passage School of Woodworking's Artisan Program.
I enjoy woodworking, chainsaw milling, and restoring old woodworking machinery.
It seems that in the past couple years I have been spending less time woodworking and more time milling. So I have tons of wood and not much to show for it!
